I can’t remember a single time in the 6 months training me where he hasn’t answered any question I’ve had in the process. He’ll describe your training plan in detail for you and give you all the information you need to get started and stay on track. The app he uses is amazing and comes with videos explaining each and every individual movement.
He’s very good at keeping tabs on you and offers motivation when you need it. There are also obvious drawbacks of not having your PT in the gym with you, so it’s up to you to take videos of your exercises for Max to give feedback on.

“I met Max about 4 years ago when he was my CrossFit coach. From the get go Max got me inspired and motivated and pushed me to new heights of fitness that I hadn’t seen for years.
I then got married, had a baby and started a business so my fitness went out the window. Then just to top it off, I snapped my Achilles tendon so I was trying to recover from that.

Before signing up with Max I was in the worst shape of my life.
“I’d suffered a few injuries over the years and had moved to a desk job at work, meaning I was nowhere near as active as I used be. This in turn resulted in some serious weight gain and a massive reduction in my fitness and overall health.
I was always tired, my appetite was never fully satisfied or I felt bloated and I seemed to always be suffering with heartburn. I was so demotivated as I’d start exercising and trying to eat better, but it would all fall apart after a few weeks. I knew I had to do something to rectify it all, but there was so much information and content out there that I just couldn’t find a plan that I could get on board with and stick to.
If I fast forward to 12 weeks later I hardly recognise myself. My energy levels are higher, my focus has returned and I look and feel like a new person. I have regained my love for exercise and am reaping the benefits mentally.
When I started with Max I could just about finish a 5k run. Now I run 10k regularly and always feel great afterwards. I’m stronger, leaner and have found myself wanting to exercise instead of looking at it as being a chore.
Yes the program is tough and Max creates some killer workouts, but who wants a trainer that will let them give up when things get tough. Max is always in my corner, pushing me on and has picked me up when my mind set wondered off course. I look forward to our sessions in the knowledge that whatever he sets out we’ll have a great laugh at the same time.”
